As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Arc, you will make a difference by providing hands-on care to individuals living with acquired brain injuries. Your role will empower individuals to manage their health, support their personal wellness, and help them find happiness and independence in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify health-related needs and monitor the medical status of residents.
- Collaborate with direct care staff and program leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare and support services.
- Provide direct care as needed, including health assessments, ADLs, transportation to medical appointments, and facilitating community outings.
- Ensure that individuals’ health and wellness are supported in a home-based setting.
- Provide ongoing training and support to direct care staff as needed.

Qualifications:
- LPN with a current, valid Massachusetts license.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and contribute to a team environment.
- Ability to assess the needs of individuals in your care and provide care accordingly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, sit, reach, and climb stairs.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or with a two-person lift.
