The Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport is looking for Part Time Field Staff to work directly with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities during the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 mentoring and support.
- Role model appropriate social communication and actions
- Collaborate with family and support supervisor to create and implement a weekly schedule of meaningful activities.
- Create physical and psychological safety to foster trust and independence.
- Maintain progress documentation on the time spent together and observations.
- Spend time listening, in order to gain insight into the person’s support needs and dreams.
- Accompany the person to community-based activities, medical appointments (if asked), and job sites.
- Follow behavioral recommendations provided by the team.
Part-time up to 30 hours during the day and occasional nights or weekend
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and must have car to drive individuals supported.
- Must pass CORI/SORI background check and driving record.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evenings as needed
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
