Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO

Northeast Arc is seeking a highly skilled and professional Executive Assistant to support our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Danvers!

Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides executive-level administrative and strategic support to the CEO, COO, and executive team. This role acts as a representative and ambassador for the CEO, supports the broader executive team as needed, and promotes Northeast Arc’s mission and leadership in the field.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supports the day-to-day activities of the CEO, COO, and executive team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings and teleconferences, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepares agendas, conducts research, and assists with the development of presentations and meeting materials.
  • Works independently and collaboratively on special and ongoing projects, including event planning and project management at the request of the CEO and COO.
  • Represents the organization in meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and committees.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the Board of Directors and associated committees, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and managing all board communications.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships across departments and with external partners, including families served, donors, and state agencies.
  • Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality in all matters related to the executive team.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience providing administrative support to C-level executives in a large organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.

Job Type:

  • Office-based with occasional attendance at events.
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate:
$31.25-$33.65 hourly
