An amazing new opportunity has come up on our Pathways to Opportunities Team in Lynn, MA! We are looking for a Coordinator to join us Part Time
Job Summary: Assists director in organizing, strategizing, and operating Pathways to Opportunities mentoring program for career-focused high school students. Assists with developing an introduction to human services as a career pathway.
Major Responsibilities:
Coaches students in their life/college/career choices by supporting a respectful and non-intrusive exploration of their options and resources.
Assists with executing curriculum and projects to correspond with more formal training/learning. Creates linkage between activities and training.
Identifies opportunities for high school students of varying ages and abilities and matches them with the needs and supervisory capacity of the organization.
Assists students with logistics for internships including transportation, dress code, and technology needs.
Assists with coordinating program activities with Best Buddies, Special Olympics, Northeast Arc Recreation for social/volunteer opportunities.
Maintains regulations and standards, including compliance with applicable laws, to ensure the safety, health, employment rights and respect for students and all participants.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Experience implementing curriculum
Experience working/mentoring high school-aged students
Advanced computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Valid Drivers license and reliable personal form of transportation
Bilingual is a PLUS!
