Direct Support Professional (DSP), part time, 28 hours per week: Monday, Thursday-Saturday 8am-3pm.
The DSP will assist with activities of daily living, recreation and socialization at a residential program for individuals with disabilities.
Duties include:
- Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene
- Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans for residents
- Ensure an appropriate staff-to-client ratio at all times
- Provide supervision and guidance for residents during skills building activities
- Update resident case notes on a daily basis
- Experience in the field of human services preferred but not required. High school diploma/GED required
Must have your own car and a clean driving record.
